Creative Lab’s sessions consist of workshops, projects and performances that explore stagecraft and devised work, voice and movement, problem solving, critical analysis and public speaking, among other features. The programme seeks to empower the mind to become insightful, critical, and ultimately creative.

The remit for the Studio 18 Creative Lab: this process provides the tools and means for young people to develop not only as creatives but as well-rounded individuals, free thinkers and responsible citizens. Using performance as a stimulus, members of the Lab programme will be presented with challenges, exercises and pieces that will enable them both to hone their individual skills and to flourish as people. In constantly presenting our members with opportunities and situations that demand that they apply themselves completely, the programme also aims to ignite a desire for life- long learning.
