Introducing Project Phoenix

Our incubation period (2023-2024) focuses on the research and development of sustainable and relevant local practices to deliver high-quality creative learning and performance arts.

Meanwhile, we will continue to provide our learners with mentoring programmes and maintenance workshops as part of our ongoing commitment to the personal and professional development of youth.

RELEVANCE

Why?

To ensure that young people are equipped to survive and thrive, and that they have the opportunity to maximise their potential. Project Phoenix aims to tailor Studio 18's remit and practices to what our learners need to develop their authentic selves, their 21st-century skills, and their creativity.

In line with our mission, we aim to give young people the space to grow through theatre experiences because we see the person behind every artist.

The Project Phoenix
Working Group

Assembled in December of last year, this dynamic team of 8 individuals is at the helm of Studio 18’s transformative journey. Their mission? To scrutinise and redefine Studio 18’s purpose, vision, and learning approach for the next 18months.

Each of the eight faces you see brings a unique set of skills, experiences, and perspectives to the table. Their varied backgrounds and expertise come together seamlessly, creating a strong and united force prepared to guide Studio 18 into an exciting new chapter.
