This segment has been in the works for a while and is part of the Cultural Ambassador role to strengthen Studio 18's community strands; one which Aidan Aquilina will continue to work on as the Cultural Ambassador for 2020.
The aim here, is to enrich the knowledge of the arts and culture, underline its relevance to our current socio-political climate, and continue to unveil artists who continuously show sheer dedication and passion towards their work.
Therefore it seems only fitting that we turn towards Studio's 18's very own Barbetti.
For those of you who aren't familiar with them, Barbetti are a Maltese barbershop quartet made up of 4 young gentlemen: Luke Hili (Tenor) Dario Bonnici (Lead) James Azzopardi Meli (Baritone) and Daniel Grixti (Bass). Ever since launching in December 2017, Barbetti have become well-known for their killer harmonies and classic covers.
They’ve had a pretty packed 2019 and are gearing up for an even busier 2020 where they start the year with a Christmas concert bringing you some holiday hits with a twist.
"Last Christmas we gave you our heart, this Christmas: Barbetti.
Join us at the Casino Maltese on the the 4th of January for some of the most loved Christmas tunes. Price includes a welcome drink and finger food. Seating is limited and is on 'First come, first served' basis. Standing tickets are also available."
