Dear friends,
Studio 18 is back and ready to rumble with it’s second round of annual auditions.
If you missed out on our first set, or have finally realised that the Studio 18 madness is indeed beckoning you, here are all the details you need in order to prepare yourselves for the audition.
Here come the AUDITIONS 2019/2020 BASICS
First of all, it is important to sign up to book your slot by emailing info@studio18malta.com, introducing yourself and telling us which programme or programmes you are interested in, and any queries you may have.
Overthinking is understandable, no judgement, but make sure you send that email BEFORE the 11 September 2019.
REMEMBER: *ALL applicants must by 17 years of age by December 2019 *
You will then receive a confirmation email with further information about programmes and a google form, as well as basic details such as:
- When the audition will be taking place: 14 September 2019 at 1400hrs
- Where: The Box – A Creative Arts Space, Znuber Street, Mosta
- What you’ll need to prepare for the audition: You’ll need a monologue for starters, and a second piece which is specified in your information pack.
On the day, all applicants will partake in a workshop. You will then get to share your audition pieces with the audition panel.
Be sure to give yourself some credit for taking a risk and challening yourself; as our Creative Director Jean-Marc Cafàputs it, auditions are a great way to push some boundaries and are an opportunity for growth. Click here to read his personal tips on how to ace your auditions.
